Explore the stunning 3,700+ acre Artemis Ranch, located at the southernmost juncture of the Glen Rose Formation in Hill Country, rich with fossils, rockhounding opportunities, and hidden caves. Enjoy curated expeditions with the Fossick Team to the Stoneledge Uplift, Lynch Creek, and The Slab, where you’ll dig for rocks, crystals and fossils. Capture the beauty of exotic wildlife on a guided photography tour, spot 28 species of exotic animals and feed the giraffes during a private giraffe experience, and savor a BBQ evening featuring ranch-raised bison and wagyu beef.
The experience also includes a guided day trip to Stoneledge Winery, where you can search for crystals and enjoy a glass of wine #Upontheledge, a visit to neighboring Colorado Bend State Park, and a trip to tour the breathtaking Longhorn Cavern cave system. Our Story
FOSSICK is the brainchild of rockhounders Clay Davis (founder/owner of Meeko's Mine) and Kaili Rose (founder/owner of Kairo Media). Through the course of their travels, the two have been dedicated to sharing their passion for the beauty of nature, the thrill of adventure travel (often to remote places), and the process of discovery. Rockhounding has taken them all over the world; learning, creating, discovering. Finding treasures, fascinating geological locations, flora and fauna, stunning history, amazing people and incredible communities.
They realized they had an opportunity to share those experiences and create a community based around rockhounding and the adventures it takes us on.
