I just received a batch of Meeko's Sarape jasper and this stuff is just beautiful. Several of the rocks have druzy along the edges, in seams or in tiny pockets. Being a big druzy fan, I set these aside for fear of destroying them in the tumbling process. Of course then they are rough and have no shine or luster.
My question is does anyone have a process they use to get some polish on rocks with druzy without ruining the druzy appearance? I'm sure the depth and location of the duzy makes a difference but I'd love to get a little (or a lot) of polish on some of these with the sparkle intact!
